In recent years, the Muntgebouw has been thoroughly renovated and made sustainable. The owner has restored the building to its original state while simultaneously transforming it into a contemporary multi-tenant location . The Muntgebouw is BREEAM certified and holds the A+++ label, which is unique for a national monument. As of 2026, the fully renovated and sustainable Muntgebouw houses luxury offices, TrainMore, the full-service events and conference venue Munthuys, and Gastrobar Florijn.

Munthuys occupies 3,500 m² of the iconic Mint Building,
distributed across six event halls, ten meeting rooms, four period rooms, and a courtyard. And for those wishing to enjoy the location outdoors during a gathering as well: Gastrobar Florijn is open to the public daily.
